Hey, I’m Huei.

I’m a Malaysian-born, New Zealand-raised, Australian-based creative type.

I make art, ads, and artful ads that resonate in culture. I believe that art gives you soul, and advertising gives you scale. The best combine them.

With over 10 years experience in advertising agencies, I’ve helped create big platforms for brands and been part of successful business pitch wins for large clients such as Cadbury, Coca-Cola, and the Australian Government.

I’m a conceptual creative, studied design thinking, and care deeply about visual craft—with my agency work and my art practice making international headlines.

When I’m not making art or ads, I’m often in nature—off-grid, reading, swatting flies away.

Personally, I’m most proud of:
︎Exhibiting with Virgil Abloh and Olafur Eliasson.
︎Releasing my first album with AI.
︎Training my cat to high five.
